❓FAQ
General
I'm having issues logging onto the server.
First of all, make sure you're playing on the supported version (1.7- latest)! If you're still unable to join the server, please reach out to our staff through the support channel in our discord.
Is the server free to play on?
The server is completely free-to-play. Every item that can be bought on the server, are purely cosmetic. We do not believe in a pay-to-win experience. While we do have purchasable ranks and packages, all of our features are obtainable in game without purchase through other means as well.
How do I become a staff?
Check out #announcements to see when positions are available. Things we always look for in staff members is activity, friendliness, and maturity. When you do end up applying, we will be looking at how well you showed these traits off.
Voting
Why aren't my votes working?
You can only vote every 24 hours, and only one person per IP can vote on the voting sites. If you didn't get three confirmation messages in chat after voting on the three sites, try voting again to see if one of the sites didn't register your vote. If this doesn't work, it's a 3rd party issue with a vote site, and you can try again after 24 hours.
The voting sites only allow one vote per IP address meaning two people in the same household can't both vote. To fix this one person will have to vote using a VPN.
If you are on Bedrock, make sure you type your name exactly as it appears in-game. This means you need include the _
prefix when voting as it is a part of your username.
Bedrock
I use Bedrock. Can I join on the Java server?
Yes, the server accepts both Java and Bedrock players. Please note, since the server is Java based, it is more ideal to use a Java client, for a better gaming experience.
How do I link my Bedrock and Java accounts?
Join the GlobalLinkServer with both your Java and Bedrock account (IP: link.geysermc.org, Java port: 25565, Bedrock port: 19132)
Start the linking process by typing /linkaccount on your Java or Bedrock account
You’ll get a message with a random number that you have to enter on the account that you did not start the linking process on.
Enter the random number on the other account by typing /linkaccount <code>
You should get kicked from the server on both your Bedrock and Java account with the message that it had successfully linked your accounts.
To unlink your globally linked accounts, join the GlobalLinkServer (as described above for linking) on either Java or Bedrock, and use the /unlinkaccount command. Linking your accounts means that your Bedrock and Java accounts will share the same player information on the server. This includes inventory, effects, and locational data. If you don't link your accounts, this information will be separate for each account, essentially making one of them an alt account.
